Speaking to À Punt, former Valencia midfielder and head coach of third division side Atzeneta UE, David Albelda, admitted he is concerned about the current state of affairs at the Primera club.
“We are all a bit concerned about what will happen at the end of the season. We hope that things turn out well and that next season we will have Valencia CF in the top-flight.“
Valencia have lost a large part of last season’s first-team squad and new boss Javi Gracia hasn’t signed a single player since taking over at Mestalla in July, due to ongoing problems at board level.
