Barcelona star Dani Olmo made use of the opportunity to show his appreciation for a Blaugrana teammate during the club’s meeting with Espanyol on Sunday.
Hansi Flick’s troops are of course currently locked in action, in the first Derbi Barceloní of the campaign.
And, safe to say, with 45 minutes on the clock, the Montjuïc hosts are well on their way to a 6th successive victory across all competitions.
This comes with Barca in possession of a three-goal advantage, with Espanyol looking absolutely no match for their rampant city rivals.
Dani Olmo has proven himself the star of the show to date, notching a fine brace either side of a goal on the part of the in-form Raphinha.
And it was after the first of his two strikes that midfielder Olmo, as alluded to above, directed something of a tribute towards teammate and fellow countryman Pedri.
After the latter ensured that Olmo did not forget to break out his trademark wrist-pointing goal celebration, the summer arrival in Barcelona did so, before following up with Pedri’s customary celebration, too:
