According to AS, new Barcelona signing Dani Alves will wear the number 8 shirt for the Camp Nou outfit.
Alves successfully passed his medical on Monday morning. The 38-year-old went to Barcelona Hospital this morning to complete the medical and trained for the first time with his new team-mates on Monday evening.
The right-back will wear the number 8 shirt, a legendary number for the club, one that was worn by Andrés Iniesta. Alves had previously worn the number 22, number 6 and number 2 shirts during his first spell at the club.
