Dani Alves took to Instagram after Real Madrid’s dramatic late win over Manchester City on Wednesday night.
The Brazilian recognised Madrid’s achievement.
“Football, my friends. Just as in life there is no such thing as luck. Either you dominate the game or the game dominates you,” wrote Alves.
“Ah, what would football be without Brazilians,” he added in clear reference to Madrid’s Rodrygo Goes, who led the comeback with his brace.
