Both Athletic Club and RCD Mallorca will be looking to improve upon their previous performances as they come head-to-head in the final of the Copa del Rey on Saturday night.
Athletic Club are heading into the match off the back of a 2-0 loss to Real Madrid at the Bernabéu, whilst Mallorca went scoreless in a 0-0 stalemate away to Valencia.
In an interesting turn of events, ESPN is reporting that both clubs are set to play their backup goalkeepers in the match, with Julen Agirrezabala and Dominic Greif stepping up in place of usual starters Unai Simón and Predrag Rajković.
Both keepers have only played one match in La Liga this season and have seen all of their appearances come in the cup.
In terms of injuries, Martin Valjent and Omar Mascarell are expected to miss out for Mallorca, whilst Nico Williams is expected to return despite missing his side’s visit to Real Madrid.
