Concerning Kylian Mbappé stat surfaces as Real Madrid’s fresh push confirmed

A fresh insight into the ongoing saga linking Kylian Mbappé with a move to La Liga giants Real Madrid has been provided this evening.

The info comes courtesy of transfer insider Fabrizio Romano, who has confirmed the news which Blancos supporters the world over were no doubt hoping for.

Speaking on his official Youtube channel on Friday night, Romano revealed that frontman Mbappé is expected to announce a decision on his future over the coming weeks.

This of course comes ahead of the expiration of his contract with Paris Saint-Germain in the summer.

More significant, though, is the assurance that, despite conflicting reports in the media, the powers that be at Real Madrid are indeed pushing with renewed vigour for the French international’s signature.

‘Behind the scenes, Real Madrid keep working very strong, and very hard on the Kylian Mbappé deal. They’re on it.’

Interestingly, news of Real’s latest push to bring Mbappé in this summer comes on the same night that a rather concerning statistic came to the fore surrounding the 25-year-old’s penalty-taking exploits.

PSG were back in action tonight, in a Ligue 1 meeting with Strasbourg.

Luis Enrique’s troops ultimately emerged on the right side of a 2-1 result, with Mbappé, for his part, having been on the scoresheet once more.

However, the former Monaco man was also responsible for a missed spot-kick.

And as much has since given rise to a stat which Carlo Ancelotti and co. will no doubt be keeping an eye on, with Real Madrid’s prime target having now failed to convert four of his last 12 penalties in Ligue 1.
