Fans of La Liga giants Real Madrid have on Sunday continued to express concern over the situation of youngster Arda Güler with the club.
Real of course marked their return to action a short time ago, welcoming Girona to Spain’s capital for a La Liga clash.
When all was said and done, Los Blancos emerged on the right side of a 2-0 result, courtesy of a brilliant pair of goals on the part of Luka Modrić, and Vinícius Jr.
En route to as much, though, the aforementioned Arda Güler was forced to watch on from the bench once more.
Murmurs spread in the buildup to today’s clash that midfielder Güler could be afforded a rare starting berth against Girona.
This of course comes amid what has been a hectic recent fixture list for Real Madrid, featuring a whole host of high-profile outings on the domestic and European fronts alike.
And though Carlo Ancelotti did go on to rotate to the tune of four changes to his starting XI, Güler was not one of those introduced.
In fact, the 19-year-old was not afforded a single minute of playing time.
This means that Güler has now played no part in any of Los Blancos’ last five fixtures across all competitions.
And as much has not gone at all unnoticed on the part of the Real faithful, who have expressed widespread concern with Güler’s current situation at the club:
