Speaking on Instagram Live, former Sevilla striker Ciro Immobile, who is currently top-scorer in Serie A with Lazio, admitted he found life difficult with the La Liga outfit under Unai Emery.
“I felt bad, I didn’t get many opportunities. In January, I was thinking about leaving, however Emery asked me to stay. I scored two goals after that but then Emery took me out of the team and I thought to myself: ‘I don’t understand this one bit.’ When you don’t feel part of the group everything is pointless.”
Immobile made 15 appearances for Sevilla, scoring four times.
