Chelsea want to include Marcos Alonso in Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang deal, Barcelona say no

Negotiations set to continue as Barcelona and Chelsea are yet to arrive at an agreement over the transfer of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.

The Blaugrana have put a €30m price tag on the Gabonese striker, which the Premier League side are not keen on paying. They made an offer worth €22m plus €5m in variables already, which Barcelona rejected.

According to Fabrizio Romano, Chelsea would like to include Marcos Alonso in the deal, whom Barcelona have been eyeing this summer.

However, the Catalan side do not wish to include the full-back as part of the agreement, as they would like to negotiate a separate deal for him altogether.

It appears as though talks between the two sides will continue all the way until the end of the transfer window.

Earlier this week it was communicated that Juventus have chosen not to sign Memphis Depay, meaning it would be in the interest of Barcelona to sell Aubameyang and lower their wage bill.
