Chelsea & Atlético Madrid locked in talks over 2 separate transfers

The respective boards at Chelsea and Atlético Madrid have are locked in negotiations over the transfers of two players.

The first deal under consideration would see a member of the midfield ranks at Chelsea make his way to Spain’s capital.

In fact, as per a report from transfer insider Fabrizio Romano, an agreement towards as much is now all but in place, with Conor Gallagher all set to link up with Diego Simeone’s Atlético.

The England international has given the green light to the move, with the Rojiblancos ready to fork over a considerable €40 million to their counterparts at Chelsea.

As alluded to above, though, Gallagher may not be the only player to swap hands between Atléti and Chelsea over the coming weeks.

This comes with a deal for Samu Omorodion also under discussion.

In information again gathered by the reliable Fabrizio Romano, it has been confirmed that the brass at Stamford Bridge and Wanda Metropolitano are talking through the possibility of youngster Omorodion making the move to the former:

‘He’s been discussed again in recent talks between Chelsea and Atlético, [in a] separate deal from Gallagher.’

Chelsea, it is claimed, would be willing to offer up as much as €35 million to push an agreement over the line.
