Champions League Final | Predicted Real Madrid XI vs Borussia Dortmund

After a full week off since their last game of the season against Real Betis, Real Madrid will be looking to go into the Champions League final against Borussia Dortmund with as strong a team as possible.

Currently, the biggest doubt lies with Ukrainian goalkeeper Andriy Lunin, who has been battling flu and has trained away from his teammates, with doubts surrounding whether he will be present at Wembley for the final at all.

Other absentees will be David Alaba and Aurélien Tchouaméni, who are injured and not expected to make a return until later in the summer.

As we reported last week, it still looks almost certain that Thibaut Courtois will be between the sticks on Saturday evening, while Eduardo Camavinga will likely replace Tchouaméni in midfield.

Elsewhere, Nacho looks likely to get the nod over Éder Militão in the centre of defence.

If Jude Bellingham starts as expected for Real, and Jadon Sancho also starts for Dortmund, it would mark the first time ever that two English players have faced each other while playing for non-English sides in a Champions League final.

If Real Madrid win, Luka Modrić and Nacho will become the most decorated players in the club’s history, with 26 honours, surpassing Marcelo and Karim Benzema on 25.

Predicted Real Madrid XI vs Borussia Dortmund

Thibaut Courtois – Dani Carvajal, Nacho, Antonio Rüdiger, Ferland Mendy – Federico Valverde, Eduardo Camavinga, Toni Kroos, Jude Bellingham – Rodrygo, Vinicius Jr.
