The former Arsenal, Chelsea and Barcelona midfielder has chosen to move to Italy and will sign a two-year deal with the Italian side, who have Dennis Wise as their sporting director.
The 35-year-old, who recently became a free agent after leaving Ligue 1 club AS Monaco, had been linked with a move to Segunda División side Las Palmas.
