Celta Vigo winger Pione Sisto drove 3000km from Vigo, Spain to his home country Denmark during Spain’s lockdown for COVID-19, according to COPE Vigo.
The 25-year old has broken the club’s internal policy of remaining at home during the quarantine period after the state of alarm was extended by a further 15 days in Spain. The report states that the Dane informed the Galician club of his trip, after leaving the country.
It has been reported that the trip took 26 hours. Club sources have said, “the matter will be resolved internally.”
