Celta Vigo handed double injury boost before Las Palmas

La Liga outfit Celta Vigo have on Thursday been afforded a double boost on the personnel front.

This comes amid confirmation that two members of Claudio Giráldez’s squad have returned to training alongside the rest of their teammates.

As per a report from Mundo Deportivo, both Jonathan Bamba and Mihailo Ristic were amongst the working group at the Afouteza sports city in Galicia on Thursday morning.

Attacker Bamba was forced to sit out with a knee issue last weekend, as Celta Vigo battled their way to a 1-1 stalemate with Girona.

Defender Ristic, meanwhile, has been sidelined since the middle of last month, after suffering a calf injury during the warm-up for the Celestes’ meeting with Deportivo Alavés.

As per the aforementioned MD, both, as a result, are in contention to feature against Las Palmas this weekend.

Luca de la Torre, on the other hand, remains in individual training with a sprained knee.
