Celta Vigo agree deal in principle to sign Granada winger Álvaro Vadillo

Celta Vigo have agreed a deal in principle with Granada player Álvaro Vadillo, according to Ideal Granada.

Negotiations between the player and club over a contract extension have broken down, with Vadillo’s contract up on June 30.

The 25-year-old contributed to the Andalusian club’s return to Spain’s top-flight in 2019, but has played more of a bit-part role this season. Celta have reportedly agreed to take the Cadiz-born player to Balaidos next season, with the final decision depending on whether the Galician outfit remain in La Liga.

Vadillo, who was Diego Martínez’s first Granada signing in the summer of 2018, has played 22 games this season, 15 as a starter, scoring three goals.
