Juventus midfielder Adrien Rabiot’s proposed transfer to Manchester United is now unlikely to happen, as reported by David Ornstein of The Athletic.
United are currently exploring new options, with Real Madrid’s defensive midfielder Casemiro among them.
Madrid are counting on the Brazilian and for the moment they have not received any proposal from United, according to Marca.
For Carlo Ancelotti, Casemiro is a permanent fixture and has a contract with Los Blancos until 2025. Madrid have seven central midfielders and, as demonstrated against Almería, Ancelotti is not afraid to use them all.
The 30-year-old joined Los Blancos in 2013. He was loaned to Porto before returning in the summer of 2015 and has enjoyed consistent success with the Spanish giants ever since.
