Before Real Madrid took on Chelsea in the Champions League on Wednesday, Carlo Ancelotti had a brief chat with Real Madrid forward Karim Benzema.
Ancelotti told Amazon Prime that as Madrid were about to make their way into Stamford Bridge, he spoke to the Frenchman. “When we got off the bus I told him he wasn’t going to play because he couldn’t find his match pass”. Thankfully for Benzema, Ancelotti’s joke ended in laughs between the pair: “Luckily, he found it later,” Ancelotti said.
