Carlo Ancelotti: “The 2030 World Cup final has to be played in Madrid”

Real Madrid head coach Carlo Ancelotti discussed several topics in his pre-match press conference ahead of his side’s match against Osasuna this weekend.

On Luka Modric

“Obviously [Luka] Modric is not happy not playing but he’s still very motivated and wants to add to the team,” the Italian coach said in words reported by Relevo.

“What Modric brings to the dressing room, no one else can. The charisma he has is very important.”

On the 2030 World Cup

“The final has to be played in Madrid, because it’s the capital of Spain, and it has to be at the Bernabéu, because it’s going to be the best stadium in the world.”
