Carlo Ancelotti talks El Clásico victory, Real Madrid’s performance and Jude Bellingham

Carlo Ancelotti appeared before the media after Real Madrid’s 2-1 win over rivals Barcelona in El Clásico on Saturday.

The Italian had several subjects to talk about, as reported by Mundo Deportivo.

Real Madrid’s start to the game

“Sometimes you don’t play the way you want to play. In the first half, we weren’t at our best. Fortunately, the second half was different and we were able to win.”

Camavinga’s introduction

“It was a different attitude in the second half to the first, where in the first half we were sluggish, slow. In the second half, we were the opposite, more aggressive.”

Modric and Bellingham

“With Modric, we had more control of the ball and Barça took a step back. After that, Jude was very effective. He scored the first goal and was clever for the second.”

Bellingham

“We are surprised by his performances and his effectiveness above all. Today he surprised us with a great goal.

“He can easily get 20-25 goals because he has started very well. We don’t consider him a goalscorer, but he’s scoring a lot of goals. But we expect a lot from the strikers as well.”
