Carlo Ancelotti still counts on Dani Ceballos

As reported by Relevo, Carlo Ancelotti believes that Dani Ceballos could play an important role at Real Madrid in the upcoming season.

The Andalucían midfielder has been subject to rumours regarding a possible exit this transfer window. However, it appears as though he might end up staying at Los Blancos as Ancelotti sees a future for him at the club

Throughout this summer, the Italian coach has made it clear who he is counting on for the season that is set to kick off this weekend. For example, even though Borja Mayoral wanted to fight for his place in the team, he was pressured to leave Real Madrid and he joined Getafe.

Following his return from his two-year loan spell at Arsenal, Ceballos made 18 appearances for Real Madrid in all competitions last season. He came on as a substitute in the Champions League final, which Los Blancos won 1-0 against Liverpool.
