Real Madrid head coach Carlo Ancelotti has provided a fresh insight into his future with the club.
The subject of Ancelotti’s plans beyond the summer has of course long proven a prominent one when it comes to the chatter surrounding Real Madrid.
This comes with the Italian having been repeatedly subjected to criticism on the part of the Blancos faithful over the course of the campaign to date.
At one point this past January, fresh off another drubbing at the hands of arch rivals Barcelona, it was even suggested that Ancelotti had one foot out the door.
Bayer Leverkusen boss Xabi Alonso has been widely tipped to replace the veteran tactician in the Santiago Bernabéu dugout, either this summer or next.
Speaking during a recent interview with Poretcast, it therefore came as little surprise when the topic of his future at Real Madrid was put to Ancelotti himself.
And the former midfielder was more than honest with his response, explaining:
“I don’t know when. I don’t decide. The only clear thing I know is that I don’t decide when to leave, the president will. It will happen sooner or later…”
