Carlo Ancelotti speaks out on his future at Real Madrid

Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti has provided an update on his future at the club amid reports linking him to the Brazil job.

Ancelotti’s contract at the club expires at the end of June, meaning his future at the club remains up in the air. Just a few days ago, Roma manager José Mourinho praised Ancelotti saying that he was the perfect coach for Madrid and that he would be a ‘madman’ for leaving the club.

As reported by AS, the Italian manager has agreed with Mourinho and has reiterated his desire to stay at the club.

He said: “Listen to Mourinho. If he is ‘Ancelottista’ then I am ‘Mourinhista’. We have a great relationship.

“We also have a bond for Roma, I was captain and have fantastic memories of that time. I quite agree with him, only a madman would want to leave Madrid.”

“I feel very good at Real Madrid. Whatever happens in the future will happen. I’m not in any hurry, I’m very happy and focused on the games we have to play and try to do the best we can.”

Los Blancos take on Napoli tonight in the UEFA Champions League, with a win confirming their progression to the knockouts as Group C winners.
