Real Madrid head coach Carlo Ancelotti is preparing to leave the club’s supporters frustrated once more, by way of his XI for the club’s next outing.
That’s according to Relevo, who have on Monday provided an insight into the situation.
Real Madrid are of course primed to return to action tomorrow night, when Los Blancos make the trip to Italy, for a Champions League showdown with the ever-dangerous Atalanta.
The evening’s hosts will head into proceedings in the midst of a remarkable stretch of recent form, to the tune of nine successive victories across all competitions.
Just two weeks ago, in their most recent European outing, Atalanta put six past Young Boys, in Switzerland.
Safe to say, then, that Real Madrid will need to be at their best, particularly from a defensive standpoint, if they hope to emerge on the right side of the result on Tuesday.
In turn, it will no doubt go down altogether poorly to hear that boss Carlo Ancelotti is ready to leave Raúl Asencio out once more.
Youngster Asencio was dropped to the bench over the weekend, as Los Blancos made short work of Girona in Catalunya.
The Real faithful wasted little time in making clear their frustration with as much, amid what has been a superb start to life for the 21-year-old on the senior stage.
Stepping in in his place was midfielder Aurélien Tchouaméni, a player whom Ancelotti has made clear time and time again that he trusts as a defender, but who has also come under heavy scrutiny for his performances thus far this season.
As per the aforementioned Relevo, though, the Frenchman will nevertheless be in from the off once more tomorrow, against Atalanta:
‘Unfortunately for Asencio, Tchouaméni is set to repeat as Rüdiger’s partner in the rearguard for the ‘final’ in Bergamo this Tuesday.’
