Real Madrid head coach Carlo Ancelotti today moved to reveal his appreciation for three of the less high-profile members of his squad.
As much, of course, comes as Ancelotti prepares to afford another chance to impress to such stars, on Tuesday night.
Real Madrid will mark their return to action in 24 hours’ time, when they welcome Alavés to the Spanish capital for a La Liga clash.
Los Blancos have long wrapped up the Spanish top-flight title, with their place in the upcoming Champions League finale meaning that heavy rotation is expected once more.
Amongst those in line for more playing time tomorrow night are the likes of Arda Güler, Lucas Vázquez, and Dani Ceballos.
Speaking to the media in his pre-match press conference on Monday, the subject of the players to have most surprised him with their contributions over the length of the season was in turn put to the aforementioned Carlo Ancelotti.
And, in his response, Real’s headmaster went on to single out three names in particular:
“Difficult to say. The one I knew the least was Fran García, who has done well. Joselu and Brahim have also done very well. There are players who could contribute more if I gave them more minutes.”
