Carlo Ancelotti confirms double Real Madrid injury boost

Real Madrid head coach Carlo Ancelotti has revealed positive news regarding the wellbeing of two of the club’s sidelined stars.

The pair in question? Rodrygo, and Aurélien Tchouaméni.

Both attacker Rodrygo and midfielder Tchouaméni were of course forced to sit out on Wednesday night, as Real Madrid were condemned to the wrong side of a 2-0 result at Liverpool.

The former has been sidelined since just before the international break, owing to a thigh injury suffered during a La Liga meeting with Osasuna.

Tchouaméni, meanwhile, picked up his issue, an ankle sprain, days prior, in a defeat at the hands of AC Milan.

After seeing Eduardo Camavinga limp out of proceedings at Anfield yesterday evening, it therefore came as little surprise when the injury situation in his squad was put to Carlo Ancelotti post-match.

And the Italian tactician, in news which will no doubt come as music to the ears of the Real faithful, confirmed:

“We hope Rodrygo and Tchouaméni will be back for the next game (versus Getafe).”
