Cádiz part ways with Sporting Director Óscar Arias

Cádiz and Óscar Arias have decided to end their contractual relationship and part ways, the LaLiga club confirmed on Saturday.

Arias said in his farewell statement that he wanted “to thank the support shown by the club and fans, which has led us to achieving great things.” Arias also admitted that “now is the time to go our separate ways, and for both of us to continue growing in our respective sporting projects.”

The club is restructuring the department, with Enrique Ortiz being named as the new sporting coordinator of the Andalusian outfit. Ortiz will be joined by Jorge Cordero as the head of scouting and Alberto Cifuentes as part of the new sporting management structure.
