According to Catalan outlet Mundo Deportivo, Brighton & Hove Albion are preparing a bid of around €15 million to sign Martin Braithwaite thanks to the more than €50 million they will receive from Arsenal for the signing of Ben White.
The England international defender would arrive in London to shore up the Gunners’ defence and the Seagulls would use some of the money to improve an attack that last season only managed 21 goals between the seven strikers who played during the season.
Despite his desire to stay at Barça, Braithwaite knows that he could end up leaving and the Premier League is an attractive destination for him. West Ham and Wolves have also shown interest in the Dane, but Brighton appear to be the best placed to land him.
