Brazilian midfielder André would choose Barcelona over Real Madrid

Fluminense player André has revealed that he would opt for a move to Barcelona, if given the choice between the Blaugrana and Real Madrid.

André, for his part, is a 22-year-old midfielder, currently plying his trade for Brazilian giants Fluminense.

He has long been regarded as one of the finest talents in his home country, dominating his area at the base of midfield courtesy of an impressive blend of tough tackling and stellar passing range.

Such traits have already seen André capped four times at senior level by Brazil, giving rise to increasing interest in his services across Europe.

To this point, the likes of Liverpool, Manchester United, and Fulham have all been tipped as potential landing spots for the Paraíba native.

André is also understood to boast admirers in Spain, though, with the prospect of a future move to La Liga, in turn, having been put to the player himself earlier today.

Specifically, he was asked to choose between the country’s two biggest clubs – Barcelona, and Real Madrid.

And the engine room dynamo ultimately opted for the former, news which will come as music to the ears of those hopeful of one day seeing André lining out in the colours of the Blaugrana.
