The coaching staff at Borussia Dortmund are ready to assign the task of keeping tabs on Lamine Yamal chiefly to Ramy Bensebaini tomorrow night.
That’s according to Diario Sport, who have on Tuesday provided an insight into the latest ongoings behind the scenes in North Rhine-Westphalia.
Dortmund are of course primed to play host to Barcelona on Wednesday, in a highly-anticipated Champions League showdown between two of the continent’s most recognisable clubs.
A key factor in any efforts on the part of the former to emerge with a result will of course be their ability to limit the influence of the aforementioned Lamine Yamal.
As proven by his recent spell on the sidelines through injury, wide-man Lamine, at just 17, remains Barcelona’s most unpredictable, and therefore important attacking figure.
The daunting task of slowing the progress of the prodigious youngster on Wednesday, in turn, will be assigned to Ramy Bensebaini.
BVB boss Nuri Şahin is hopeful that Algerian full-back Bensebaini’s physical tools, accompanied by an aggressive team approach when defending, will prove enough to keep Lamine’s influence to a minimum.
