Borja Mayoral is set to become a Getafe player, according to Gianluca Di Marzio.
Mayoral, who still belongs to Real Madrid and who had been on loan at Roma for a year and a half, will join Quique Sánchez Flores’ side on loan until the end of this season.
Roma will keep an option to buy him for €20 million. They have this agreement in place with Real Madrid since he first arrived in Italy.
Mayoral left Madrid in 2020 in search of playing time. In 2021/22, he has played just 249 minutes in which he has scored one goal and provided one assist, while last season he scored 17 goals and provided seven assists.
