Borja Mayoral has one more year on his Real Madrid contract but the striker’s future will depend on how his summer with Madrid goes.
“I’ll do the pre-season with Madrid, let’s see what the feeling is,” the Spanish striker explained to Onda Madrid on Friday.
Mayoral’s situation not only affects Madrid and the player, but also his current loan club, Getafe, who want to keep him on loan. “The president told me that he would talk to my agent,” said Mayoral.
“He assured me that he had already talked to Madrid, that I would stay at Getafe,” he added.
If Madrid finally decide that the best thing is for Mayoral to leave, he will be sold.
