‘Be stronger’ – Antonio Rüdiger’s message to Endrick during Real Madrid training

Real Madrid star Antonio Rüdiger sent a crystal clear message to new teammate Endrick, during his first training session alongside the Brazilian this week.

That’s according to Marca, who have on Tuesday provided an insight into the latest ongoings in Carlo Ancelotti’s squad.

Real, of course, flew out to the USA over the weekend, for the club’s annual pre-season tour.

Training, in turn, began on Monday, in Chicago, Illinois.

Amongst the most prominent figures in attendance were the likes of Arda Güler, Luka Modrić, and the returning Antonio Rüdiger, fresh off his vacation post-Euro 2024.

Grabbing the headlines, though, was summer arrival Endrick.

After at last being unveiled in front of the Real Madrid faithful last week, Brazilian international Endrick took his place amongst the star-studded Blancos ranks in training, no doubt eager to make a positive early impression.

Safe to say, however, that the 18-year-old was afforded something of an unceremonious welcome.

As per the aforementioned Marca, during a match between ranks, Endrick was subjected to an altogether difficult time by Antonio Rüdiger.

The German implemented the same tactics which have kept the likes of Harry Kane and Erling Haaland quiet in the past, utilising the ‘dark arts’ to keep his new teammate in check.

One such challenge even left Endrick grounded and requiring medical assistance.

Amidst as much, Rüdiger showcased little remorse, with Marca adding that the former Chelsea man was at one point heard shouting:

“Be stronger in the duels!”
