A member of the defensive ranks at La Liga outfit Valencia has made his way onto the transfer watchlist of Bundesliga heavyweights Bayern Munich.
That’s according to German football insider Florian Plettenberg, who points towards Cristhian Mosquera as the player in question.
Youngster Mosquera, for his part, has played a leading role for Valencia across the season to date.
Despite his tender years, in fact, the 20-year-old has featured from the off at the heart of defence in every one of Los Che’s league outings.
And, evidently, across these appearances, Mosquera has done enough to pique attentions in Germany…
As confirmed by Florian Plettenberg, amid their ongoing search for reinforcements at centre-half, the board at Bayern Munich have earmarked the Spaniard as a potential target:
‘Bayern are monitoring Cristhian Mosquera. The 20-year-old central defender from Valencia is one of many names on their list.’
As of yet, the Bavarians have not gone as far as to formalise their interest, but the situation is one to keep an eye on over the final weeks of the January transfer window.
