Bayern Munich are ready to offer Real Madrid ‘big money’ for highly-rated right-back Achraf Hakimi, according to Madrid-based journalist Sergio Santos of AS.
Achraf is believed to be open to a move to Munich for two reasons. The likely wage offer of around €6-7m a year after tax would be a large increase on his current salary. A move to the Bavarian giants would also allow him to stay in a league where he has excelled in.
The 21-year-old has made it clear to Madrid that he doesn’t want to return to be second-choice right-back to Dani Carvajal. Zinedine Zidane sees Carvajal as his nailed-on first-choice player in that position.
Madrid have a strong relationship with Bayern; this season right-back Alvaro Odriozola went on loan to the Bundesliga club. Given that Achraf is a hot prospect with a contract that still has three years left on it, Madrid would expect to receive a fee of around €60m. Transfermarkt values the Morocco international at €54m.
