An insight into the kind of fee set to be demanded by La Liga giants Barcelona to part with youngster Vitor Roque has on Tuesday been forthcoming.
The name of frontman Roque has of course returned to the forefront of the headlines once more over the last 24 hours.
This comes after the Brazilian’s latest snub on the part of Barcelona boss Xavi was swiftly followed by a fresh wave of rumours surrounding his future.
Amid his ongoing struggles for game-time in Catalunya’s capital, it is now considered as increasingly likely that Roque will be moved on in the summer.
As much could come by way of either a loan, or a permanent move, in the case of the demands of the Barca brass being met.
And, as alluded to above, on Tuesday, the details of such demands have been revealed.
As per Blaugrana insider Javier Miguel of Diario AS, Deco and his transfer team are ready to take into consideration any offer for Roque which exceeds €40 million.
It remains to be seen whether any such bid arrives, but, just six months on from his arrival, Barcelona are looking increasingly likely to cut their losses on a player who was so recently touted as the long-term successor to Robert Lewandowski at the Camp Nou.
