Barcelona trio in line to return for Granada clash

Three high-profile members of Xavi’s Barcelona squad are in line to return to matchday duties next weekend, according to reports.

Barca, of course, are currently in the early stages of preparations for their next La Liga outing.

Riding high on the back of successive victories over Osasuna and Alavés, the Blaugrana will welcome relegation-battling Granada to the Estadi Olímpic Lluís Companys.

Xavi and co. will head into proceedings in the knowledge that a three-point haul could prove a significant one, in their efforts to hunt down Real Madrid and Girona atop the Spanish top-flight.

This comes with the division’s top two set to lock horns, in a highly-anticipated clash in Madrid.

And, as alluded to above, if the latest word stemming from the media is anything to go by, Barcelona’s efforts towards precisely that could well be aided by the return of no fewer than three sidelined stars.

As per a report from Diario Sport, all of Marc-André ter Stegen, Raphinha, and Sergi Roberto are expected to be fit to feature against Granada.

Both Ter Stegen and Raphinha have of course been out long-term, the former since December, owing to respective back and thigh problems.

Blaugrana captain Roberto, meanwhile, recently picked up an Achilles issue in training.

All three, though, have now rejoined their teammates in full training, in a timely boost for all associated with the club.
