Barcelona to leave Camp Nou in 2023/24 season

Renovation work will begin on Barcelona’s Camp Nou stadium this June, as reported by AS.

“We will start work this coming June to carry out the remodeling works of the stadium. It will be the largest and most innovative sports and entertainment space to be built in a city,” said club president Joan Laporta at a ceremony at Barcelona’s city hall.

Over the coming season, Barcelona will play at Camp Nou while work “will concentrate on the first and second stands, the technological area, the stadium’s surroundings, and the exterior urbanization”.

According to Laporta, in 2023-24, the team will play its home matches at the Lluís Companys stadium in Montjuic.
