Two leading members of the first-team ranks at La Liga giants Barcelona are set to lock horns on the international stage on Friday evening.
This comes ahead of a crunch showdown between Poland and The Netherlands in World Cup qualifying.
The fixture will pit Robert Lewandowski against Barcelona teammate Frenkie de Jong.
As things stand, it is the latter who sit top of the Group G table, with 16 points on the board. The Oranje, in turn, require only a share of the spoils to ensure their place at the World Cup with a game to spare.
Poland, though, sit three points back, in the runners-up spot. Desperate to keep their hopes of automatic qualification alive, Jan Urban’s troops will therefore be eyeing an upset result later tonight.
Fresh off teammate Barcelona teammate Jules Koundé booking his spot at next summer’s showpiece on Thursday night, it will now be the turn of De Jong and Lewandowski to battle it out for the same.
