Two leading members of the attacking ranks find themselves among the podium places when it comes to the players with the most big chances created in Europe’s top-5 leagues this season.
That’s according to statisticians Squawka, who have on Monday provided a look at the numbers.
Barcelona have of course been nothing short of a chance-creation machine across the campaign to date.
Released from their shackles as part of the all-action system employed by manager Hansi Flick, the Blaugrana, week in and week out, have carved out a whole host of goalscoring opportunities.
In turn, it should come as little surprise to hear of a pair of Barca stars standing amongst the very best on the continent when it comes to ‘big chances’ carved out.
As per Squawka, ‘only two players have created 25 big chances in Europe’s top five leagues this season’ – Bayern Munich’s Michael Olise, and Barcelona wide-man Raphinha.
Close behind in 3rd place with 24 is another Blaugrana standout, meanwhile, in the form of Lamine Yamal.
