Barcelona starlet could secure January departure

An up-and-coming member of the midfield ranks at La Liga giants Barcelona could be granted a temporary departure from the club following the turn of the year.

That’s according to Diario Sport, who point towards Pablo Torre as the player in question.

Youngster Torre, for his part, has of course seen his opportunities to contribute gradually decrease over the early months of the season.

After initially playing an important role in Hansi Flick’s squad amid a shortage of options in the middle of the park, the 21-year-old has since been afforded just a solitary start since all the way back in late September.

This comes with the likes of Dani Olmo, Fermín López and Gavi now back fully fit and firing.

And the significance of as much has not been at all lost on either those behind the scenes in Catalunya’s capital, or Torre himself.

As per a report from Diario Sport, the player and his entourage will sit down with Deco and co. over the next couple of weeks, to discuss the possibility of a winter loan exit.

Torre is for his part labelled as open to as much, albeit with the final say set to be left to boss Hansi Flick.
