Barcelona star Raphinha has on Tuesday secured for himself a fresh piece of individual silverware. This comes amid confirmation of the Brazilian being named La Liga Player of the Month.
Frontman Raphinha of course carried a scintillating opening to the new campaign on the books of Barcelona through the month of September.
All told, the former Leeds United man took to the pitch in La Liga on four occasions this month. And along the way, he racked up a remarkable nine direct goal contributions.
This includes back-to-back hat-tricks in his last two appearances, against Racing Santander and Sevilla respectively.
In turn, it should come as little surprise to learn of Raphinha this week being aptly rewarded for his ongoing excellence. As confirmed on Tuesday, the 29-year-old has beaten out competition from the likes of Kylian Mbappé and Jonathan David to scoop the La Liga Player of the Month prize for September.
This marks his 2nd successive award, after also being named the Spanish top-flight’s standout performer for August.
