Barcelona star Lamine Yamal is expected to take his place on the bench for the club’s first outing on the back of the international break.
That’s according to Barca insider Javier Miguel, who has on Thursday provided an insight into the latest developments in Catalunya’s capital.
Wide-man Lamine, for his part, is of course sidelined at present.
After suffering an ankle sprain during Barcelona’s Champions League meeting with Red Star Belgrade last week, the 17-year-old was forced to sit out the Blaugrana’s ensuing clash against Real Sociedad over the weekend.
Lamine’s absence was sorely felt, as Hansi Flick’s troops were ultimately condemned to just a 2nd defeat of the La Liga campaign.
Safe to say, then, that all associated with Barca will be happy to hear that, all going according to plan, the club’s attacking starlet should be given the green light to play at least some part in their next outing.
As per the aforementioned Javier Miguel, the expectation is that Lamine will be on the bench in a little over a week’s time against Celta Vigo, with a view to being introduced to the fray in the case of the Catalans requiring an attacking spark.
