Barcelona star Dani Olmo is expected to be restored to the club’s starting line-up for their upcoming derby meeting with Espanyol.
That’s according to Relevo, who have on Tuesday provided an insight into the latest developments behind the scenes in Catalunya’s capital.
Olmo, for his part, has of course spent the last week ramping up his recovery from a recent spell on the sidelines.
In Barcelona’s fixtures against both Bayern Munich and Real Madrid, the Spanish international was introduced off the bench, managing close to half an hour in the latter.
And, with a full week of group training under his belt, this weekend, Olmo is in line for a return to starting duties.
As per a report from Relevo:
‘Flick once again has the star signing of the season, who everything points to as a starter on Sunday in the derby against RCD Espanyol.’
Fermín López is the likeliest candidate to drop to the bench to make room for Olmo in the attacking midfield role.
