Barcelona star Wojciech Szczęsny set alarm bells sounding in the buildup to the club’s meeting with Borussia Dortmund.
This comes after the Pole was forced into a sudden exit from the warm-up.
Barcelona are of course currently locked in action, in a Champions League quarter-final 2nd leg meeting with the aforementioned Dortmund.
Shot-stopper Szczęsny was as expected named in the visitors’ XI at Signal Iduna Park, amid what has been nothing short of a brilliant start to life in Barca colours.
Whilst being put through his paces in Germany, however, the former Arsenal and Juventus man caused a momentary scare.
After a save attempt saw his hand bend awkwardly, Szczęsny was ushered back to the dressing room by doctor Ricard Pruna.
Thankfully, the 34-year-old was ultimately cleared for action, taking his place between the posts for Barcelona as a result. But he has since given away a penalty to allow Dortmund to take the lead on the night!
