Barcelona star Gerard Martín has revealed that a fellow member of Hansi Flick’s squad made the promise to shave his head, in the case of the defender finding the net against Real Sociedad.
Left-back Martín, for his part, is fresh off an outing to remember on Sunday.
Afforded a starting berth in Barcelona’s La Liga meeting with the aforementioned Real Sociedad, the 23-year-old thoroughly impressed once more.
Martín, in fact, set the goalscoring in motion in Catalunya’s capital, slotting home a fine first-time finish after being picked out by Dani Olmo during the first-half.
And in the process, the Spaniard, evidently, left one of his teammates nothing short of shocked.
Speaking to the media on the back of the full-time whistle this evening, Martín revealed that Iñaki Peña promised to commit to a new hairdo, in the case of the defender scoring his first-ever senior goal against Sociedad:
“Iñaki Peña told me he would shave his head if I scored today, but he won’t do it!”
