Barcelona star Alejandro Balde has moved to reveal his happiness for teammate and close friend Ansu Fati.
This, of course, comes fresh off a significant evening for the latter on Wednesday.
Barcelona marked their return to action last night, welcoming Borussia Dortmund to Catalunya’s capital for a Champions League quarter-final first-leg clash.
When all was said and done, the Blaugrana enjoyed an outing to remember, running riot to the tune of an eventual 4-0 triumph.
And providing those of a Barca persuasion with yet further reason to smile late on, as alluded to above, was the return of Ansu Fati.
Wide-man Ansu, amid another challenging season to date, had before last night not taken to the pitch in a competitive setting since all the way back in January.
During the game’s closing exchanges, Hansi Flick therefore afforded the 22-year-old a rare appearance, sparking widespread celebrations across Montjuïc.
And since confirming his delight for Ansu, too, has been another member of Barcelona’s first-team ranks, in Alejandro Balde.
Speaking to the media on the back of the full-time whistle on Wednesday, defender Balde explained:
“Ansu is one of my best friends. I’m glad he had a chance today.”
