Barcelona star Lamine Yamal has unveiled a photo of the state in which his left foot was left, owing to a challenge during the club’s meeting with Las Palmas.
Barcelona were of course back in action on Saturday night.
Amid efforts to extend their advantage atop the La Liga table, the Blaugrana made the trip to Gran Canaria, for a meeting with the aforementioned Las Palmas.
When all was said and done, Hansi Flick’s troops kept alive a fine recent stretch of form, courtesy of goals on the part of Dani Olmo, and Ferran Torres.
Young winger Lamine Yamal, meanwhile, also played a leading role, laying on a classy assist for Olmo’s opener.
Post-match, though, the 17-year-old revealed the fact that he had been the recipient of a nasty blow during the action at the Estadio de Gran Canaria.
Alongside a photo of his bloodied left foot, posted to Instagram, Lamine added the caption:
‘Not a foul’, alongside a series of laughing emojis.
