Barcelona star provides perfect response to claims of foul before 2nd goal vs Bayern

Barcelona star Fermín López has provided his take on the chatter surrounding his involvement in the club’s 2nd goal of the night against Bayern Munich on Wednesday.

Barca, of course, are fresh off an outing to remember on the continent.

After welcoming German heavyweights Bayern Munich to Catalunya’s capital, Hansi Flick’s troops ran riot, on their way to an eventual 4-1 triumph.

Wide-man Raphinha proved himself the star of the show, notching a hat-trick on his way to Man of the Match honours.

But crucial to the Blaugrana’s eventual victory, too, was the aforementioned Fermín López.

Restored to the club’s starting XI after a spell on the sidelines, midfielder Fermín more than justified his inclusion, laying on each of Barcelona’s first two goals against Bayern.

His 2nd assist sparked something of a debate, after the 21-year-old aimed a strategically-placed elbow into the back of Kim Min-jae on his way to goal.

Speaking to the media on the back of the full-time whistle, Fermín himself was therefore asked for his take on claims of a potential foul.

And the Spaniard went on to provide the perfect response:

“Was that foul on Kim Min-Jae? I think he’s too big to be taken down that easily…”
