An insight into the staggering market value jump to have been enjoyed by Barcelona prodigy Pau Cubarsí over the course of the last few months has today been forthcoming.
Youngster Cubarsí has of course exploded onto the scene in Catalunya across the year to date.
After first being afforded a chance to impress by boss Xavi amid a personnel crisis at the heart of Barcelona’s backline, La Masia’s latest sensation has since gone on to establish himself as a near-undisputed first-team starter.
Just last week, Cubarsí, at just 17, scooped Man of the Match honours owing to a frankly remarkable display en route to Barca sending Napoli packing from the Champions League.
In turn, it did not even mark a surprise when the defender was afforded a maiden call-up to the Spanish senior squad for the country’s upcoming friendlies against Colombia and Brazil.
So, all of this taken into consideration, how is Cubarsí’s market value currently viewed?

The info comes courtesy of Mundo Deportivo, citing Transfermarkt – the internet’s go-to source for accurate player valuations.
And as much has confirmed that Cubarsí is currently considered to be worth €25 million on the market.
Though this, on the face of it, may look a low figure for one of world football’s most highly-regarded young defenders, it must be remembered that the teen has taken to the pitch on just 10 occasions in recognised senior fixtures.
Not only that, but this is a whopping 16 times higher than Transfermarkt’s previous valuation of Cubarsí, of just €1.5 million back in December.
