Barcelona star now has an ‘80% chance’ of leaving this summer

La Liga giants Barcelona see it as increasingly likely that a member of the club’s attacking ranks will be on the move before the summer is out.

This comes amid the understanding that Ferran Torres is inching ever closer to the exit door at the Spotify Camp Nou.

Frontman Ferran is of course still riding high, following his World Cup final heroics in the colours of Spain this past weekend. Introduced off the bench during a showdown with Argentina, the former Manchester City man notched the game’s decisive goal deep into extra-time.

With the dust having now settled on a historic night for country and player alike, though, Ferran has been forced to turn his focus back towards matters at club level.

And if the latest word stemming from the Spanish media is anything to go by, a major change in the situation of the 26-year-old could well be on the cards over the weeks ahead.

As per a report from Diario Sport, talks between Ferran’s entourage and the Barcelona brass over a contract renewal are ‘not progressing’.

Ahead of the expiration of his current terms in 12 months’ time, Paris Saint-Germain are therefore beginning to push for the attacker’s signature.

So much so that Ferran’s chances of bringing a close to the Blaugrana chapter of his career this summer are considered to be as high as 80%.
